4Glob – Mobile 3G/4G Data Monitor
4Glob monitors mobile data usage, displays detailed daily statistics, saves you money by showing how much of your data plan you have used, and comes with a customizable billing cycle!
1. Initial setup
When you start 4Glob for the first time, you can input your current data plan, as well as any data usage for the month. The app will ask for your permission to access your device’s location. To calculate Internet traffic correctly, the app must obtain periodic updates on location changes.
2. How data is displayed
4Glob periodically checks how much mobile data has been used, and presents the information through numeric statistics, a progress bar showing usage, graphics, and maps indicating where mobile data has been used.
4Glob informs you if you have exceeded your daily, monthly, or total data limit, and notifications can be disabled in preferences.
4. Application settings
See your current data usage and the size of your data plan, and reset information either completely or partially. Partial resets use statistics of your choice: you can reset information for the past months or the current month, and you can reset traffic replenishment information.
* 4Glob presents a set of dots on a map. These dots correspond to the device location at the moment when the information was updated, and therefore, they MIGHT NOT always correspond to the real places where Internet connection has been used.
* 4Glob counts mobile Internet data only, i.e. 3G/4G data. This means WiFi data is not included in statistics, so you won’t have to worry that what you see in the app represents WiFi and mobile data.

Pros and cons of 4Glob - Mobile Internet Data Tracker app for iPhone and iPad
4Glob - Mobile Internet Data Tracker app good for
Is there a way to get app to start from my billing cycle date rather then the beginning of the calendar month??? Add this feature to get 5 stars!
Very accurate (tried another similar product not as accurate), with usage history, and now with custom start day of billing it is perfect!
I installed the app a few minutes ago. Interfaces good ergonomy.
Slick and simple while presenting useful info.
Touch gestures should be used to drill down. Cell infos lacking.
Until now Im pleased and plan to use the app (seems that I made the right choice).
Great but needs to have a limit maker so I dont go over but amaZing job
...there should be option for roaming plans, or multiple plans anyway: as for time limited data plan offers, etc. One fixed plan only is rather limited. Otherwise: useful, easy and nice!
Some bad moments
The interface looks fantastic and the app is extremely easy to use. Helps me keep track of my data usage and it does it well. Much better than the default one in the settings that I never remember to reset.
The app presents usage data in a beautiful way - best I have seen.
However, the purple location Icon is always indicated in the status bar, even when the app is closed. Location services shows this to be 4glob. I wonder how this will affect battery life. Also, since the icon will always be there it makes the icon worthless in terms of indicating if other apps are using the GPS. I dont like that. Giving it only 3 stars because of this.
No way to select a start date for the billing cycle?? Really?!?
The app design is very good but you should implement the possibility of changing the billing period!
With the inability to set your own month start date (for instance, my bill begins on the 17th of the month, mid month) this app thinks that I start on the 1st of every month.
I cant believe there is no way to input the day of your billing cycle start date? Most people are on random start dates unless you physically activated your iPhone on the 1st of the month. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
